Gadash Meniv, located in the Shfela region, specializes in both dryland and irrigated crops, including wheat, corn, cotton, melon, and watermelon.
It was established through a collaboration between the field crop sectors of Kibbutz Kvutzat Yavne and Kibbutz Bnei Re’em, Meniv integrates innovation with agricultural tradition.
The cooperative actively collaborates with the Southern Growers Organization, as well as regional and national research and extension systems, engaging in experiments and field observations.
This commitment to continuous learning stems from the understanding that knowledge gained through research enhances expertise and contributes to the broader agricultural community. Findings from these trials are shared with growers through field tours and regional seminars, fostering knowledge exchange and best practices.
Recently, the Meniv Field Crop Sector joined the Soil Health Project, further expanding its commitment to sustainable farming. Additional details and updates will be provided as the project progresses.
